Dickinson Homes Introduces a Beautiful Midwest Craftsman Ranch

Just last week I told a group of builders and factory folks at Westchester Homes that the East Coast owns the custom modular market and just like that I find Dickinson Homes in Michigan, a custom modular home factory, not only produced a great Craftsman home but produced one of the best videos I have seen in quite some time.

If this doesn’t get you thinking about packing your bags and building this home on one of Michigan’s lake fronts, then nothing will.

From the entry with its post and beam roof to its unique windows and the spectacular kitchen, this is a winner that should find a lot of the East Coast builders calling their factory rep asking if they can build it.

As for my remark that the East Coast owns the custom modular home market, it seems that gems like this one prove the Midwest is starting to give the East a real run for their money.

Come west (of New England), young man! There are lots of modular manufacturers that customize their homes. We just don't get as much free advertising. Either that or they don't let Coach know about their homes.

Sounds like it's time to go West. Until then won't some Midwest modular builders please send some custom modular homes?
