Britco Announces Community Appreciation Day on July 13th

Britco Modular in Agassiz, British Columbia, Canada is up to a few new things to get the community’s help to add new workers, hosting a rip roaring day of fun, food and showing the community what Britco builds.

“We build everything from hotels, houses, and condos to industrial camps and offices and we’ve been really busy for a number of years and then we were heavily involved in oil and gas, which stopped, and we’ve spent the past few years shifting gears from oil and gas back into permanent modular construction,” said Britco Director of Manufacturing Tim Epp.

The company is on the hunt for valuable employees to fill a gap after the company underwent layoffs awhile back.

Britco is bringing the community on board with an appreciation barbecue that will be held on Thursday, July 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at their Agassiz location on 1825 Tower Road.

“It’s a free barbecue and we’re inviting the community to come out and have some food and there will be a bouncy house, some face painting, and factory tours so people can actually come into the factory and see what it is that we do and look at the working conditions.”
