Simplex Industries Delivers Student Housing to Philly

Way back in my days at Penn State I watched several student housing buildings being built and it took from Spring of one year until Spring of the next to get finished. I watched the progress of those building groan on and on for a year.

With modular construction like Simplex Industries manufactured for Cross Properties in Philadelphia, that Penn State project would have been completed and ready for occupancy by Christmas. If I were in Philly when these apartments were set I would only had about a week to watch the set.

That is the one of the greatest benefits of going modular with Simplex.

The next time you are in Philly drive over to University City at 4030 Baring St and check out this student housing complex.

It’s 33,254 sq ft includes 42 modular boxes providing 33 four bedroom luxury student housing apartments.

The 3 stories of wood framed modular construction consisting of (33) living units were installed over top of a partially below grade lower ground level that was constructed on-site with concrete and steel panelized walls which houses an additional (11) living units.

Contact Jason Drouse at Simplex Industries for help with your next large commercial project.

Great, modern facade. I'm sure the inside is as well designed. Congrats Simplex!
