New Modular Factory About to Rise in Minnesota

Rise Modular, a Minneapolis startup, is about to open a modular factory at Lemond Road and SW 24th Avenue in Owatonna, MN, that will build modular apartments and hotel rooms.

Christian Lawrence, the CEO and founder of Rise Modular, said that the company expects to be in operation at its Owatonna facility by the end of the year and will employ about 100 people initially.

Notice that single family housing is not going to part of their initial plan. Says a lot about the direction modular construction is headed.
